Designing My Own Neon Signs
Seeing how neon open signs work for other establishments, I find it a great idea to have one of my own. Buying ready-made open signs just wouldn’t work for me. I want my neon open signs to look not like the rest of the stores and establishments in our area. So, I went on to create my own neon open signs.
Open signs will be of great help to attract customers towards our business. In order for them to be seen right away, I ordered one in a pretty good size. Something that’s not only visible to walking customers but also to those driving or sitting in their vehicles. Choosing the text style is pretty easy. I opted for a horizontal unit with the text in standard form. Having loopy texts will be difficult to decipher in a distance. I need ones that can be seen and read clearly. The borders can highly accentuate the text inside so I designed one in a loop. A lot of open signs I saw had a rectangular border over them so a circular one can break the monotony. I also decided to incorporate our company logo on the right upper edge of the design to make them more unique.
Selecting colors is pretty fun. Since our company logo sport a yellow and purple color, I chose the same color scheme for our open signage to tie everything up. The word “open: is made yellow while the borders casually sport a purple hue. Designing neon signs for our business is real fun.
